Description

Palo Santo is the holy wood of South America, related to frankincense and myrrh trees (Burseraceae family). It’s use has been reported as far back as Incan times. Today, it’s use varies, cleansing, purifying, healing, clearing misfortune and negativity.

Peru is the only country currently controlling harvesting techniques for Palo Santo. No standing tree may be cut, instead only fallen branches and twigs can be gathered from the ground. For that reason, we source only Peruvian Palo Santo. Sticks average 4″ long and vary in thickness as they are naturally gathered.

Sold per stick.
